Mr. Anthony De La Rosa

Boys Basketball Coach
 
Mr. De La Rosa is in his 3rd year at Wilson Middle School.  He taught mathematics at the high school level for twelve years.  Mr. De La Rosa also has over fifteen years of high school basketball experience (three at the varsity level) prior to helping Wilson achieve a 2nd place finish last year in boys basketball.  He is looking forward to a great year teaching five Introduction to Algebra Classes ( four 8th grade, one 7th grade).  He is also excited to see all the young talent Wilson has to provide in the basketball program.
 
Mr. De La Rosa is a graduate of California Polytechnic University, Pomona; where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies 2001.  He continued his education at Mt. St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, where he received his Master's Degree in Education in 2004, as well as his Single Subject Credential (Foundation Level Mathematics).
 
Mr. De La Rosa married his high school sweetheart Cynthia in 2002. They have been happily married residing in the city of Arcadia and are celebrating their daughter, Mia Elaine's first birthday, this September.
